On August 28, 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. stood on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. He addressed a crowd of more than 250,000 people, and implored his listeners to rally for civility, understanding and basic human rights.

His dream was worth sharing. 48 years later, we still celebrate Dr. King’s iconic message.
