Hope. It keeps us going when times are bad. It gives us courage when we’re weak. It helps us through our darkest hours. Everyone deserves hope.
More than 3 million reports of child abuse are recorded in the United States every year. Victims of abuse may feel they have no way out. They might believe no one will help them. These young children can easily lose hope. But we can show them we care.
Many adults might not spend much time thinking about child abuse. The very idea seems absurd to most people. How could an adult intentionally harm a child?
