Although it may be hard to believe, it’s already time to start getting the kids ready to go back to school. For younger children, this could be their first time venturing out into the academic world, so we are happy to recognize August as Get Ready for Kindergarten Month.

Kindergarten plays an important part in the development of a young child. Not only do kids learn basic scholastic skills, they are also taught positive social lessons such as sharing, working with others and cooperation. It’s a great time for young people to grow intellectually, emotionally and personally, and there are several things parents can do to help their children prepare.
