Every generation has popular names. Just take a look at a list of baby names by year. It shows the traditional names that have hung on for years, as well as the one hit wonders that were only popular for a short period of time. For example, if you were born in the 1950s, there’s a high probability that your name is Mary, Linda, Michael, or James. Babies in the 1970s were most often named David, Jennifer, Christopher, or Michelle.
But what about the next generation? Who will young boys and girls search for 25 years from now? Hint – it probably won’t be Michelle.
