Most people have heard of a People Search, but not everyone knows exactly how they work. People Searches allow you to find most anyone in the United States, and at PeopleFinders.com we are dedicated to giving you a variety of ways to find long lost family and friends.

The most common way to find people online is to do a Search by Name. This type of People Search lets you enter a first and last name, and the person’s most recent city and state if you know it. You can use a last name only, but providing more information will improve your results. Fill in the details you’re sure of, click the Search button and you’ll be shown a list of up to 100 people that match your criteria. Don’t worry if you’re not sure which one is the right person, you can order a report that includes information on all of them.
