When watching some of our favorite movies, it’s common to shout, “If Only!” If only they knew their love was at the next café, or if only they knew the suspect was living on the next block, or if only they could remember their past. Movies take us on an emotional roller coaster; but then again, that’s one of the reasons why we love them!
Throughout the last decade, we have seen characters who could have used a little help. Possibly a little guidance through technological advances or even just some solid information to start their epic stories. That’s where PeopleFinders could help. Now, yes we know the characters are not going to use PeopleFinders; but what if they did? Would the story lines be simpler and the stories more practical? Would you still want to watch Kate Beckinsale search for John Cusack after all those years in “Serendipity”? Or would you still watch Tom Hanks anticipate Leonardo DiCaprio’s next move in “Catch Me If You Can”?
While it may be too late to call for a rewrite, let’s still take some time to consider the possibilities. And, while we are rewriting history, what if you start searching for people through PeopleFinders? Maybe a long-lost love or someone who you need to speak with again. Need a little inspiration?
Ah, Jonathan and Sara… their multiple-year journeys to find each other could have been a lot shorter if they depended on accurate people searches. Instead of depending on fate – which is not always punctual – the two love birds could have placed their destiny in the hands of PeopleFinders. Online searches, past address, current names, and even phone records could have helped to avoid this bi-coastal romantic chase and cut to the part where they live happily ever after. However, the scene on the ice skating rink and that delicious and decadent scene in the ice cream shop should always make the final cut.
“Catch Me If You Can”
Released in 2002, “Catch Me if You Can” was the true story about Frank Abagnale Jr. who brought a whole new meaning to bounced checks. Granted, this movie was set in a decade that survived without the cell phone and other related technology, but Tom Hanks could have used a little help to stop the madness before it got even more out of hand. Cue PeopleFinders and the problem could have been solved. A quick background check and Frank (Leonardo DiCaprio) would have not survived the full two hour movie without a large stint behind bars.
Now, can you imagine to what extent PeopleFinders would have changed the plot of “The Departed” starring Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg and Leonardo DiCaprio? Searching for secret identities could be accomplished in the comfort of their East Coast homes. No need to lead a double life and no need to add on the stress. In less than 10 minutes, everyone would know who everyone was, regardless of what side they are on.
“The Bourne Series”
Finding people and gathering information is at the very core of this movie. A name and even a previous state would have pointed Matt Damon in the direction he was seeking. Never mind the fact that we recently found out that Jason was not the only one. Mr. Aaron Cross, played by Jeremy Renner, could have benefited from PeopleFinders, and he may be one of the only characters in the right decade to have benefited from the services.
Even if your life isn’t like the movies, you can still use PeopleFinders.com when searching for people, running background checks, and maybe even catching up with the one who got away.
